Neches River Canoe Trip April 2017

Most of Thursday was spent traveling to East Texas and shuttling vehicles. After getting on the river we just went down the river a couple of miles and found our home for the night on a spacious sandbar. We enjoyed glorious weather with a warm afternoon and cool enough night for the sleeping bag to be welcome. The river was high but forecast to come down.
