Leaders cannot assign car pools, but may help coordinate ride sharing for energy conservation and to promote fellowship. We suggest that car pools meet at public places such as DART Transit Centers or train stations. Leaders may use GroupCarPool.com to facilitate car pooling.
The Sierra Club does not have insurance for carpooling arrangements and assumes no liability for them. Carpooling, ride sharing or anything similar is strictly a private arrangement among the participants. Participants assume the risks associated with this travel. Car-pooling is SOLELY voluntary.
