Dallas Sierra Club General Meeting via Zoom - Tuesday,
The May 12 General Meeting will be held online
via Zoom, not at Brookhaven College.
Dallas Sierra Club Chair, Dan Moulton PhD, will share thoughts
and insights with his presentation, Global
Climate Change: Causation, Mitigation, & Adaptation. A
necessary topic in the best of times, climate change and its
effects around the world are under more scrutiny than ever as
countries are faced with the physical and biological effects
of this growing crisis.
Daniel W. Moulton is a Wildlife Ecologist, Certified Wildlife
Biologist, and College Professor. He has worked for the U.S.
Fish and Wildlife Service in Hawaii and Maryland; the Maryland
Wildlife Administration in Annapolis; and for over 20 years at
the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. in Austin. His work at
TPWD focused on wetland ecosystems all over Texas, but
especially coastal wetlands. Now retired, Dan devotes himself
to local environmental issues and is Chair of the Dallas
Sierra Club and its Executive Committee.
From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. you can log in to the meeting, chat,
and ask questions. The meeting will begin at 7:00 with
