»Suburban Walk: Oak Point and Bob Woodruff Parks, Plano city parks.Suburban Walk: Oak Point and Bob Woodruff Parks, Plano city parks.Join me for a late winter walk between Oak Point and Bob Woodruff Parks in Plano. We will walk on both the natural surface trails and the paved paths. Who knows what we will see on a winters morning? Our destination is the old burr oak tree which was recognized by the Arboriculture Society as being alive at the time the U.S. Constitution was signed. The walk will be between 6.5 and 8 miles. We will start at 8:00 am and be back to the cars no later than 2:00 pm. Dress for the weather (layers), bring a liter of water, and a snack. There are bathrooms at both the beginning and at the turnaround points of the walk. Limit 10 people.
