»Day Hike at Dinosaur Valley State Park, Glen RoseDay Hike at Dinosaur Valley State Park, Glen RoseIf the Paluxy River level is right, put your hands and fee in the riverbed tracks of the giant beasts who once stalked here. We'll hike six to eight miles on the Cedar Brake Trail, about four hours. Bring a daypack with water, lunch, snacks, and water shoes you don't mind getting wet when fording the Paluxy before  changing into more comfortable trail shoes or boots. Assemble at either a point TBD in the park (10 AM) or at 8 AM to form carpools at the far east end of the Mockingbird Station DART parking lots, near the Kroger store. Participation is limited to twelve people who contact the hike leader in advance. Note that the date of this event is now reset to October 14.
